Off the back of a stellar run of singles including their bubbling debut ‘The Hills’; the swirling, inebriated ‘Don’t Think’; and the kinetic house-infused free download ‘Falling’, comes All The People’s newest (and quite possibly most impressive) single to date, ‘Beach Club’. Characterised by fluttering synths, shuffling drums and Curtis Dennie’s typically soulful yet understated vocals, ‘Beach Club’ unfolds with the languid, wandering charm of a daydream. Speaking of the single, the band said “it’s reminiscent of memories of our childhood summers spent in caravan parks on the south coast where the actual beach club we refer to still stands. It actually started life as a pure house track and then we played around with harmonies & took inspiration lyrically from The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran shaping it into a slightly melancholy, nostalgic song”. The South London trio’s debut album R Together is slated for a March 2017 release but in the meantime join the club and catch All The People on their upcoming tour dates. - KJ
